Columbus, OH band, Angela Perley & The Howlin’ Moons recently announced they were going to be making the journey to New York City to be part of the CMJ Music Marathon. A launching pad for some of the blogosphere’s most beloved bands, don’t be surprised if Angela Perley dons that distinction one day. Surviving the Golden Age is excited to premiere the band’s new track “White Doves.” The poppy alt-country track sounds like Jenny Lewis with the swagger of Joan Jett. Its cool, confident, and just plain badass. “White Doves” is from Angela Perley & The Howlin’ Moons’ forthcoming record Homemade Vision.
