Australia’s Archer & Light are preparing to release their sophomore EP, Our Love is Confetti. They have graciously let Surviving the Golden Age stream the EP. The five song album is filled with acoustic guitar based pop songs. The album kicks off with “Spoonful Of Honey” which starts off like a solo acoustic ballad with lead singers Rob Di Giallonardo and Steph Ryan trading vocals. But as the song progresses, it builds until it crescendos in a flurry of electric guitars and drums. From that point on, the album does not really slow down until “The Hopelessly Hopeful,” the only true ballad on the record. But whether it be all out rockers or balladeering, Archer & Light clearly have hitmakers written all over them.
