He has previously said that the album is going to be his edgiest but judging by the new single “Ready,” edgy means more mainstream. “Ready” features auto-tuned extraordinaire Future on the chorus. Armed with a trap beat and the message of “don’t try to roll up on us because we’re always ready,” it sounds like the most typical street single B.o.B has ever released.
