Bananagun are preparing to release their new 7″, Do Yeah on September 6th via Full Time Hobby. Surviving the Golden Age is excited to premiere the final song on the EP, “Crane In The Tiger’s Mouth.”
Bananagun sounds like a record you find at a thrift shop for a dollar. You know the one with the colorful cover feature men and women in ill-fitting smocks sitting in a field of daffodils? “Crane In The Tiger’s Mouth” mixes elements of bossa nova with pan flute, wah-wah guitar, and sunny 60s vocal harmonies. It sounds like The Association. Or better yet, it sounds like something the Avalanches would sample!
