Producer, Alan Wilkis and Dan Armbruster of Joywave fame collaborated on a track back in April called “Old Fashioned Girl”. The two enjoyed collaborating with each other so much that they launched a new band called Big Data. The duo’s first track under the moniker is “Dangerous.” With the tracks strong distorted bass line and live sounding drums, its hard not to think of LCD Soundsystem‘s “Daft Punk Is Playing At My House.” Vocally, Armbruster’s sounds much more like Thomas Mars from Phoenix than James Murphy but they work for the track.
