I had high hopes that Celestial Shore‘s “Valerie” would be a cover of Amy Winehouse‘s song of the same name. Unfortunately, it is not but that doesn’t mean the track isn’t good. Off the band’s upcoming debut album, 10x the track reminds me of early-90s emo bands like Cap’n Jazz.
