“You Can Call Me Al” was the biggest single off of Paul Simon‘s classic Graceland album. The track was an upbeat, horn-filled song with South African influences. The track gets a HUGE make over from Chamberlin who turn the track into a post-grunge jam with southern rock influences. It reminds me of 90s hit makers, Seven Mary Three.

This. Yes.
Chamberlin again shows it has a talent for fine reinterpretations of songs. Check out their “Cabin Covers” EP. They are one of the best new bands in America and, as yet, somewhat overlooked. Their new EP “Look What I’ve Become” is out and 2013 may be their well deserved break through year.
