Portland duo, Cloudlines team up with fellow Oregonian, Creme Brulee for the new single “Light Up.” Brulee kicks off the track with a verse that straddles the line between silky R&B vocals and rapping. It gives the impression that maybe the track won’t be electro-pop but by the time the chorus hits, its apparent that Cloudlines are doing what they do best. The glitchy chorus overlaid with xylophone and effected vocals make “Light Up” a memorable track.
