Premiere: David Hopkins “Irresponsible”

Is there a difference between being irresponsible and a murderer? Not in David Hopkins‘ new clip “Irresponsible.” Directed by Danny Drysdale and Mark Stoermer, the video humorously juxtaposes the song’s peaceful bossa nova sound and sweetly sung vocals with scene of violence. Hopkins plays a hit man in the video capable of killing in a variety of ways: by poison, by club, by telephone. The song is about being irresponsible with someone’s heart but the video takes it to a farcical extreme.

“Irresponsible” is off of David Hopkins’ new album Overlook which is out on April 20th.
