Jackson of Carousel fame has a new project called Day Wave. Although a bit more guitar-centric, it still has all the great sun-soaked pop influences of Carousel. Unfortunately on his debut track “Nothing At All,” Jackson is feeling a bit down on himself. “What am I Good For? somebody tell me” he asks imperatively during the song’s chorus. Well Jackson, I do know you are good at writing Real Estate-esque pop tunes, that counts for something!
