North Wales’ Def Neon released their self-titled debut album at the end of November 2016. Surviving the Golden Age is excited to premiere their first post-album release, “Animal.” The track sees the band continue down their path of shimmering synths and 80s drums. With a synth-bass line that chugs like a palm muted guitar, “Animal” rocks harder than most of Def Neon’s new wave revival contemporaries. It’s a track that boldly proclaims “we are not slowing down!”
