After 2010’s Italian disco-filled Kaputt, Destroyer returns with a new EP called Five Spanish Songs (PreOrder it here). As the title suggests, all five songs are completely in Spanish. The lead single is “El Rito,” a handclap-filled rock track. While instrumentally and melodically the track is good, it is hard to believe a man known for his lyrics would choose to sing in a language foreign to many of his fans. If anyone has a good translation of the lyrics let us know in the comments.
