Tennessee’s Don Tigra are preparing to release their self-titled album late this year. Surviving the Golden Age is excited to premiere the album’s lead single, “Maria, Mine.” The song marks the beginning of singer/songwriter, Stephen Gordon’s move away from americana/folk towards a more college rock direction. With the heavily reverbed guitars and baritone vocals, the track sounds somewhere between The Church and Interpol. “Maria, Mine” is a hypnotizing track and a powerful debut single.
