2019 has been a busy year for Drew Danburry which saw him release his 20th album and go on a US tour. He wraps up the year with his latest single is “Mediocrity, For Micah Dahl Anderson (who is amazing and not mediocre).” The song, which is about mediocrity comes with a hand drawn video which Danburry explains “I thought if I made a hand drawn animation myself it would demonstrate the idea of Mediocrity well since I had never animated anything in my life.” I still think he did better than what I could have done but the point is well taken. It is a poignant video for a piano ballad that wears it’s heart on its sleeve.
