El Perro Del Mar may have released their fifth album, Pale Fire last November but they are still getting mileage out of the record. They recently released the album’s third single “I Was a Boy.” The single comes with Gidge‘s remix of “Hold Off The Dawn.” The first two minutes of the track are shuffling downtempo similar to Burial. Entering the third minute, the track changes feeling a bit; the shuffling beat comes out of its shell, increasing in tempo and adding some tropical percussion. It makes listening to the entire track worthwhile.
