London band, Escapists released their album Only Bodies back in August. Surviving the Golden Age is pleased to premiere a remix of the album’s opener, “Faraday Cage” by Honsai Jnr. Rather than using the using the vocal track and just adding a dance beat to it, Honsai Jnr creates a glitchy remix of chopped up vocals and lush instrumentation comprised of loops guitar snippets, sitar, and drums. In all honesty, if the track was not promoted as a remix of “Faraday Cage,” I don’t think the masses would be able to tell it wasn’t a Honsai Jnr original.
