Stockholm’s Felin are preparing to release their debut album, Reckless Dreamers later this year. The album’s third single is “LaLaLa,” a song that mixes the pop sensibility of the Interrupters with the imagination of Panic! At The Disco. Elin Blom sings with a little sneer during the verses before the big trombone filled chorus. The chorus lyrics, as you might have guessed, are “la la la la la,” in a way it reminds me of Outkast‘s “The Whole World.” With the whole mish mash of influences in one song, it makes Felin’s sound as interesting as it is catchy.
