Brooklyn’s Field Guides are preparing to release their new album, This Is Just A Place on September 27th. The album’s latest single is “Lucky Star in the A.M.” The track mixes influences of indie folk such Mac DeMarco with late 90s emo a la American Football to create a shuffling, guitar riff-rich jam. For good measure, they throw in a little steel guitar at the end to get a little alt-country vibe as well. Field Guides truly has all your bases covered.
