Filter “Take Me To Heaven”

With the announcement of their seventh studio album, Crazy Eyes expected April 8 via Wind-up Records, industrial rock outfit Filter have released the lead single, “Take Me To Heaven.” The brain-child of former Nine Inch Nails touring member Richard Patrick, Filter pour their hearts out in honor of Patrick’s father with an energetic bass line, fiery vocals, and a dash of electronic distortion.

Filter are set to embark on the “Make America Hate Again” tour with support from Orgy, Vampires Everywhere and Death Valley High, following the release of Crazy Eye. The name of the tour being a jab at the slogan of controversial presidential candidate Donald Trump, Filter may be targeting political and social themes in the new album as had been done in 2008’s Anthems for the Damned.
