On August 24th, Gilligan Moss will release their new EP, What Happened? Their latest track is “Fever” which member Ben Cronin “the highest energy track from this EP.” Similar to “What Happened?,” there is a vocal sample which repeats for much of the track on “Fever” but it is a bit more prominent. The female vocals repeat “are you sick with no fever? Right where I want you but now I don’t even know” over a bouncy bass line and four-on-the-floor beat. It’s the kind of song that you can dance to if it came on in a club but you can also sit down and listen to with headphones and enjoy the complexity of everything that is going on.
