Last year, we saw Dan the Automator team up with Emily Wells for an album as Pillow Fight and with Del the Funky Homosapien and Kid Koala for a second Deltron 3030 album. This year, Dan teams up with Mary Elizabeth Winstead to form Got a Girl. The duo will be releasing their debut album, I Love You But I Must Drive Off This Cliff Now on July 22nd. The album’s first single, “Did We Live Too Fast” is expertly produced posh pop. It is the type of music you listen to in a convertible while driving along the French Riviera.
