The Funk Hunters bring a finely-tuned, trappy, future bass flair to their remix of Gramatik/ProbCause/Adrian Lau‘s “Satoshi Nakamoto” and the result is perfect blend of old school hiphop sensibilities and modern EDM innovation. Similar to their wildly enjoyable collaboration with Chali 2Na (“Oh Shit”), TFH continue to display a smart and forward thinking approach to their version and vision of hiphop-EDM hybrids. This is a song that can be appreciated by a cranky old golden age hiphop lover as well as a young Travis Scott fan alike, and that’s tough to pull off.
