Five-piece UK band, Grubby Mitts just sent me their new single, “Standard.” The first minute of the song is stripped down indie rock guitar plucking with some added glockenspiel but then the track explodes with a nice drum and bass beat coming in turning the song into a dance explosion. The contrast between the mellow guitars and fast-paced beat really makes for something unique and fun.
