The Hold Steady “I Hope This Whole Thing Didn’t Frighten You”

hold-steady-i-hope-this-whole-thing-didnt-frighten-youAfter a four year lay-off, The Hold Steady announced a new album, Teeth Dreams to be released on March 25th. The album is the follow up to 2010’s largely disappointing Heaven Is Whenever. If the album’s lead single “I Hope This Whole Thing Didn’t Frighten You” is any indication, it seems Craig Finn and company are back on the right path. Starting off with an R.E.M.-esque guitar lick, Finn sounds as desperate and manic as ever on the track.
