Swedish duo, Icona Pop ruled the summer of 2013 with their bratty single “I Don’t Care.” The group has barely been heard from since until they dropped “Emergency” today. Unlike their previously aggressive synth pop sound, “Emergency” goes in a completely different direction. The track sees Icona Pop experimenting with electro swing a la Fergie‘s “A Little Party Never Killed Nobody (All We Got).” It’s hard not to get sucked in by the shuffling beat and the walking piano line.
