Iron & Wine and Ben Bridwell from Band of Horses holed up in Echo Mountain Studios in Asheville, NC last summer to record, Sing Into My Mouth — a record of 12 cover song that had influence one or both of it creators. The latest single from the album is the duo’s cover of Talking Heads‘ classic “This Must Be The Place (Naive Melody).” Listening to the original, it almost too easy to hear where the snaky synths could be replaced with steel guitar and Iron & Wine and Bridwell capitalize on that.
