On the latest leak from Born Sinner, J. Cole teams up with rapper of the moment, Kendrick Lamar. The track is called “Forbidden Fruit,” a R&B-tinged track laced with sexual innuendoes. The best of the innuendoes is “forbidden fruit, watch out for the Adam’s apple,” a biblical reference turned double entenre. The most disappointing part of the track is lack of a Kendrick Lamar verse. Despite being featured on the track, Lamar handles chorus duty exclusively with no rapping.
