Jason Loewenstein has been a member of Sebadoh since Sebadoh III in 1991. He released his debut solo album in 2002 and 2017 will finally see its follow up. “Superstitious” is first single from his sophomore album, Spooky Action. The track features a similar lo-fi aesthetic as Sebadoh but Loewenstein’s voice sounds a lot like Dave Grohl. It makes “Superstitious” sound like a The Colour and the Shape-era Foo Fighters demo which is pretty bad ass.
“Superstitious” will be on Spooky Action which is out June 16th On Joyful Noise Recordings.
