Composer, Jason Todd Shannon is preparing to release his new album, The Warn Out Air this summer. Surviving the Golden Age is excited to premiere the album’s lead single “Life On Earth.” Sounding somewhere between The Goat Rodeo Sessions and Hans Zimmer, the five-and-a-half minute track features 100 different instruments including analog and digital synthesizers, mellotron, sitar, celesta, harp, organ, tabla, bass, drum kit, timpani, full orchestral string and brass ensembles and a soprano choir. Like many classical pieces, it goes through movements building until it dropss for an acoustic guitar and drum duet before rising up to the songs final conclusion.
