Refreshing is the main word that comes to mind when listening to Jay xero and LondonBridge‘s smooth new jam called “Gonna Go With You.” It sounds like 2017 but carries with it some slick 80’s sensibilities, while rocking with a 90’s-style house/salsa/reggaeton hybrid vibe. And it all fits together like a puzzle and the result is pure enjoyment. There’s a sweet charm that’s conveyed by Jay’s earnest and slightly unpolished crooning, almost reminiscent of Pharrell or Kenna. Definitely “gonna go” with this and really interested to see what Jay xero comes with next.
