Drummer, Jean Caffeine is preparing to release her new album, Sadie Saturday Nite on August 31st. The album is a companion piece to the one woman, one guitar player show about growing up punk in the first wave San Francisco punk scene. On the single “All Girl Band,” each verse references one of all female bands Jean drummed for in the late 70’s and 80’s. It’s an interesting and quirky take on storytelling filled with greasy Chinese food, opening for the Clash, and even a Bill Murray spotting.
