I think this is the first time I’ve thought of describing a track as gentle, but man does that fit perfectly. The lead synth reminds me of birds singing and the drums are straight up sexy. The ambiance of the track is really pretty, and the spaces are filled well with the sounds Jerry Folk used. I also get a vintage type of vibe from the track with its warmth of the instruments. For me to tell you why the track is titled “Stanley” would be impossible as there aren’t any words to the track. But I do feel like I was taken on a journey, possibly in Stanley’s shoes, who knows.
