Today, Mexican Summer release Jorge Elbrecht and Ariel Pink‘s new 10″/book Five Years. The latest single from the duo dubbed Jorge Elbrose is “Called to Ring.” Like most Ariel Pink associated projects, the track has a throwback feel to it but its not quite the Hall and Oates-inspired pop listeners are used to. Instead the track harkens back to heavily reverbed psychedelia with hints of moderns bands like Real Estate.
