It’s not too often that I find myself sharing indie pop with you all, but once in awhile I’ll hear a track pop up on my radar that just resonates. “Hold Slow” by Victoria-based (British Columbia) outfit LABS is that song. The song came out originally on LABS’ EP which was released a few months ago, but the band has gone on and decided to re-release the track as a free download – YAY! It’s happy, it’s summery, the chorus is catchy as hell and I can hear shades of CHVRCHES.
