Lana Del Rey wrapped up 2011 as one of the most sought after artists. “Video Games” had flourished into a song of the year contender and her debut album was on the horizon. 2012 has been an up-and-down year for Del Rey. Her notorious SNL performance brought heaps of criticism and her debut album received mixed reviews but a series of highly successful music videos and licensing deals has let her end the year on top. So as she runs out the year, Del Rey released the Classixx remix of her track “Blue Velvet.”
