Stint‘s remix of Lana Del Rey‘s “West Coast” is laughable. I don’t mean it is bad but the first time I listened to it, I actually laughed out loud. In Stint’s notes on the track he says “
I really like it when you can completely flip the production of a track upside down” and he does just that. From the smoky, sexy original, he creates a bubbly pop song with a whistled chorus. Not only is it catchy but it sounds good if not chuckle-enducing.
