For a rap/rock band, Linkin Park has slowly veered away from doing both. Now they arrive with “Heavy,” an epic EDM ballad in the same vein as the Chainsmokers. It is an odd turn considering Linkin Park is a six person outfit and “Heavy” sounds like most current EDM duos. And those six people don’t even do all the vocals, they farm out vocal work to Kiiara.
“Heavy” will be included on Linkin Park’s upcoming album, One More Light, out May 19th.
