Houston stoner-metal heroes, Linus Pauling Quartet are preparing to release a three CD box set called Assault on the Vault of the Ancient Bonglords on December 18th. The band has allowed Surviving the Golden Age to Premiere their latest single from the album called “Southern Pine.” The track features a fairly mellow build up that culminates in a blazing guitar solo around the two minute mark before calming back down. It shows LP4’s passive/aggressive dynamic while exhibiting superior musicianship.
