LittleBoyBigHeadOnBike, nee Will Orchard, is preparing to release a new album, big blue butterflies on June 29th. Surviving the Golden Age is excited to premiere the album’s new single, “The Basement.” With lush synthpads and a bossanova beat, the song is dreamy and melancholic. It could as easily be from Spandau Ballet’s 80s catalog as Badly Drawn Boy’s About a Boy soundtrack. “The Basement” is beautifully executed.
