Philadelphia duo, Lizdelise completed a two-month tour across the country and then retreated to NYC to write with their new drum machine. Surviving the Golden Age is excited to give you a first glimpse at those sessions in the form of “Tell Me.” The track is reminiscent of Speedy Ortiz or St. Vincent with its angular distorted guitars and singer Liz De Lise’s vocals lilting over the top. The electric drums, guitar and vocals combine until reverb it added at the apex. For a band in transition, Lizdelise sure do sound like they know what they’re doing.
