The guitar use in Mahama and Wolf Tide‘s “Spoke the Words” is impressive. A slow tempo on a melodic track like this really pushes its feeling forward allowing you to appreciate all of the different elements. The vocals are simply phenomenal and I love how there’s both a poppy chorus type but also a more indie/alternative in parts of the verses. I must admit my favorite part of the track is the rolling cymbal hits in the chorus which livens it up a bunch. Overall a quite beautiful and powerful track that shouldn’t go unnoticed without a listen or two first.
