In February, Marina City dropped their single “Addicted.” In less than a month, the song accumulated over 50k Spotify plays. Surviving the Golden Age is excited to premiere Cho‘s remix of the track.
The original song is a slow-burning pop noir, dark and sexy. Cho keeps the same pathos but ups the BPM on the track to create a dance floor ready anthem. With a thumping four-on-the-floor beat and strobe light synths, Cho’s version is one of the few instances where the remix might be better than the original.
