Boise-based duo, Mdnite released their debut singles “Shot The Moon” and “Young and Tired” in late 2019. Their first single of 2020 is “I’ve Always Been An Alien.” Blending aspects of electro pop and trip hop, the track sounds somewhere between Phantogram and Massive Attack. With lyrics about “the universal feeling of being misunderstood” and isolation, its a song that makes a lot of sense in this age of quarantine.
