Deep house infused with Pop music is something a little new to me. Montis and Afreaux‘s “Wrong” is a soulful combination of those two music styles. I think this track can be compared to works of Gorgon City and Duke Dumont. The ambiance of the intro is great with the piano chords and nature sounds in the background. The track never really peaks too much with energy but instead gently layers in the different sounds. I think it’s much harder to create something great that contains a very relaxed vibe as you have to be more intricate and detailed instead of just pounding bass into your face. The bass in the drop has a little bit of a Disclosure feel, and I think the vocals play on that as well.
