In 1994, Tom Jones released The Lead and How to Swing It, an album that mixed late-80s/early-90s dance beats with Jones’ signature crooning; it was a huge hit in Finland and nowhere else. However, that album seems like the major influence for N2BLÜ‘s new single, “Match My Crazy.” With a Eurovision-style beat, the track sounds straight out of the 90s but it is the lyrics that really stand out. Lead singer/songwriter Jonathan Arceneaux explains “I struggle with depression and anxiety, which is generally stigmatized, unfortunately. ‘Match My Crazy’ is about my struggle with love and relationships, but hopefully a way to help end the stigma against mental health.”
