When I think of indie band’s from France I naturally think of Phoenix‘ light and airy indie pop. Bonjour Afrique does not sound like Phoenix. Although from Paris, Bonjour Afrique makes noisy pop music that sounds somewhere between the Pains of Being Pure at Heart and Jay Reatard. Their latest song is “To My Place”. The vocals may sound like delicate pop but the music is on the boarder of chaos. Check it out.
