Smashing Pumpkins have been in the news recently. First, it was because the band’s new bassist claimed she is one of the girls from the Siamese Dream cover; now it is because Billy Corgan and company released their new song “Lightning Strikes.” The track is actually pretty good but has way more keyboard than I am accustomed to from the Pumpkins.
