Noble Son is the moniker of singer/songwriter, Adam Kirschner. Kirschner is preparing to release his debut full length album, Joy in Violence on March 30th. Surviving the Golden Age is excited to premiere the album’s new single “Problem Daughter.” The track begins as a stripped down ballad with guitar and vocals. The guitar’s simple down strokes are joined by piano hits and sparse bass as the song evolves. But “Problem Daughter” shifts completely after two minutes. Drums enter the fray, vocals are layered, and then an explosion of electric guitars for the last minute of the song. Because it comes so late in the song, it feels like an easter egg–like a little reward for listening to the whole song. It is a beautiful, emotional crescendo.
