Carson, CA’s NonSense is preparing to release his new album, Yours, Truly: Part II on November 8th. Surviving the Golden Age is excited to premiere the final single before the album release, “Better.”
Fairly early in the song, “R.I.P. neighborhood Nipsey” NonSense incorporates into his quick fire rhymes. Because of his impressive complex flow, it can take multiple listens to fully appreciate what NonSense is saying but the chorus makes it clear, “can we do better?” Better both as individuals and as communities. NonSense gives an emotional testimony of what it means to grow up in a community that begs for hope.
