Finally, we get Bastard remixing Bastard. Purple Bastard‘s take on ODB‘s classic “Shimmy Shimmy Ya” is an interesting study in rhythm and cadence. At first the track seems to be off kilter with ODB’s rapping not quite lining up with the beat but in actuality that is the intention. The battle between ODB’s unconventional rap style fighting with the beat is an interesting listne.
